E-billing is configured to send an email or SMS notification with a link to the e-bill to the customer when a new bill is produced. The e-bill is an exact copy of the printed output that would otherwise have been posted to the customer. If the customer has not read their bill within the agreed timescale of the email or SMS being sent, the e-billing solution can send an SMS text reminder (if the customer has selected SMS notifications when registering). The e-billing solution may also be configured to print and mail a paper bill to the customer if, after a further agreed time the customer has not viewed their online bill, having received the text reminder. This revert-to-print feature is a standard offering within our e-billing solution.
